Key Responsibilities
- Customise and extend the Front Arena platform to deliver new risk and valuation capabilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust functionalities integrated across trading and back-office ecosystems
- Take end-to-end ownership of critical services, ensuring high availability and minimal production downtime
- Lead integration efforts between Front Arena and upstream/downstream systems (pricing, market data, risk engines)
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex production incidents efficiently
- Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold quality, security, and alignment with architectural standards
- Identify and implement system improvements to boost performance, scalability, and operational resilience
- Contribute to change and release management within an agile (SAFe) delivery framework
- Uphold ethical conduct, risk discipline, and compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Front Arena roles supporting trading, mid-office, valuation, and risk
- 8+ years of hands-on development with Front Arena AEL, ACM, and ADFL ? all three are required
- Solid understanding of capital markets, particularly structured products and equity derivatives
- In-depth knowledge of financial product lifecycles (cash flows, corporate actions, expiries)
- Practical experience with Front Arena data models, workflows, and component interactions
- Experience working in agile teams using tools such as Git or Bitbucket
- Clear communicator, able to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Comfortable working under pressure, with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise dynamically
- Willingness to work on Swiss/Zürich public holidays when foreign markets remain open (e.g. 1 August)
