TRADE MARKETING & MERCHANDISING INTERN (M/W/D) 100% Switzerland & Austria

Your role:
The Trade Marketing & Merchandising Intern will be responsible for managing and executing various marketing and merchandising activities. This role involves coordinating with different departments and ensuring the successful implementation of marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trade marketing, merchandising, and competitive analysis. This position may require occasional travel to attend events and meet with clients. Additionally, the role involves working closely with various departments, including sales, design, and marketing.
Job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Marketing & CRM Activities Plan and execute trade marketing and CRM initiatives for key retail partners in Switzerland & Austria. Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign effectiveness, offering data-driven recommendations. Event Management Organize and coordinate exclusive beauty school and skincare suite events, collaborating with multiple stakeholders and agencies. Support cross-functional teams to implement Dior’s guidelines for high-profile events. Visual & Video Updates (Switzerland & Austria) Oversee the production and deployment of visual merchandising assets (e.g., Duratrans visuals) across all multi-brand retail doors. Ensure video content updates align with Dior’s global brand guidelines. Planograms & Merchandising Strategy Adapt planograms for Fragrances, Makeup, and Skincare according to central guidelines, using IWD tools. Collaborate with sales teams to ensure perfect execution of merchandising strategies across different markets. Competiitor Analysis & Market Insights Monitor market trends and competitor performance, delivering insightful reports and recommendations. Provide training and support to local teams for optimal use of Dior’s merchandising tools.
Profile
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A proactive mindset with a passion for luxury, trade marketing, and retail excellence. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Fluency in English, working proficiency in German, French is a plus. Experience in market research, competitor analysis, or retail merchandising is a plus. What We Offer
