People with a real estate sales or other sales background are especially encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Schedule, set, and conduct appointments with potential clients. Educate clients on financial literacy and available insurance products. Develop and maintain relationships through networking and referrals. Close sales by helping clients find the best insurance solutions for their needs. Participate in ongoing training and mentorship programs for professional development. Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied. Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs. Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include cold calling and networking. Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals. Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs. Qualifications Ability to dedicate a minimum of 5-10 hours per week . Open to learning and professional growth in the insurance industry. Able to pass a state licensing exam (pre-licensing training provided). Able to pass a background check . Basic computer skills for virtual client interactions and training. Strong willingness to improve sociability and communication skills . Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills are necessary; customer service skillsare helpful. Open to embracing the insurance industry and becoming educated about its relevant state and federal regulations. Fundamental computer skills such as experience with Microsoft Office.
