For one of our clients, a company specialized in biotechnology located between Geneva and Lausanne, we are looking for a Formulation & Fill Manager (FR/ENG) (M/F):

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring strict compliance with quality, safety and productivity standards.
• Promote process efficiency and optimisation through rigorous qualification, validation and problem solving in accordance with established protocols.
• Continuously refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Use project management skills to lead and deliver significant operational projects.
• Implement and maintain LEAN methodologies to reduce waste, improve process flow and increase efficiency in formulation and filling activities.
• Lead initiatives to improve quality, increase capacity and achieve higher service levels across production.
• Compliance and Documentation
• Maintain the highest levels of compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and safety standards.
• Facilitate thorough investigations of deviations, executing timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during internal and external audits, ensuring that all operations comply with regulatory standards.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, biotechnology or biochemistry.
• At least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, with a focus on bioprocess optimisation or technology transfer.
• At least 2 years' supervisory experience in formulation, filling or similar processes.
• Proficiency in automation systems for formulation and filling operations.
• Demonstrated experience in applying LEAN tools and principles to improve manufacturing operations.
• Strong project management skills, ideally with a certification or portfolio of notable projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative spirit.
• Effective time management and results-oriented approach, with a focus on compliance and operational excellence.
• Fluency in English and French.
