Who will you be joining?
Group Taxation (GTAX) is the tax department of Allianz SE, the listed parent company of Allianz Group. GTAX supports the Board of Management to ensure high quality and efficient tax reporting and tax compliance and represents the company against external authorities. With our diverse team of more than 30 tax advisors, lawyers and senior experts we enable sustainable growth by providing tax advice to senior management, performing group wide tax planning and engaging in strategic projects. GTAX sets group wide tax standards, steers and coordinates the local tax functions to ensure effective tax risk management and to safeguard Allianz reputation as a responsible tax payer. In GTAX we constantly strive for benchmark performance and best practice.
Group Tax operates in an international environment with continuous touchpoints with our operating entities, tax authorities, senior managers and C-level stakeholders.
In your full-time role as a tax expert in the Tax Reporting and Accounting division GTAX is responsible for:
GloBE /OECD Pillar II implementation
Country by Country Reporting
Tax accounting resolution for taxes under IFRS and Solvency II
Setting of group-wide standards and guidelines for internal and external tax reporting including enforcement and advice
Supporting tax planning and optimization for the Allianz Group
How can you make an impact?
You will:
coordinate the GloBE / OECD Pillar II project at Allianz Group
ensure compliance with (local) GloBE regulations within Allianz Group
contribute GloBE technical expertise within the GloBE (IT-tool) implementation at Allianz Group
be in close communication with / coordination of Allianz subsidiaries worldwide and other Group Centers on GloBE related topics
monitor and analyse GloBE developments regarding impact on the structures and tax planning of the Allianz Group
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Taxation, Law, or a related field
At least 4 years of professional experience e.g. in a tax department of an international group or a Big4WP company
Profound experience with respect to GloBE regulations/projects
Tax advisory experience at both national and international levels
Experience in (IFRS) tax accounting and reporting
Business fluent English
Detailed, consistent way of working, high level of understanding of complex issues
Very good communication and presentation skills, team player
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in business related functions (i.e. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solutions
